Today Carpe Diem prompt is love story. I have chosen this woodblock print by Edward Munch as the illustration. The kiss from 1897, my ambition has to describe the story from three different viewpoints with one haiku for each.
fulfilling embrace
merge in love together
conclusion in bliss

their passion hides the sorrow
of a deceived ex

I have long admired Munch’s piece /The Scream/ since I was assigned to do a project on it in the 6th grade. Thank you for bringing this piece to light for me and for narrating it with your poems.
