Carpe Diem Haiku – Winter Rain (fuyu no ame)

Winter kigo on Carpe Diem prompt is winter rain, fuyu no ame, and my take on this prompt starts from this picture taken the other night in the first sleet. The bush is a mock orange (Philadelphus) smelling like jasmine in early summer.

  1. I love your winter hidden fragrance and the jasmine flowering. The word “armory” is perfect to describe winter for life goes on under the snow.
Fragrance/flowering/freezing … nice rhythm, sounds so well!

I love your feedback
